Olympia und Technik. An exhibition at the Deutsches Museum in Munich which showcased the development of various sports equipment over the decades until 1972. This included the state of the art in timekeeping, lighting, scoreboards, communications, data processing and torch relay. 1st July - 1st October 1972.



Info. Acquired from the collection of Helmut Herz, the Organising Committee member responsible for the exhibition. – In the Deutsches Museum there was also the exhibition 100 years German excavation in Olympia (100 Jahre Deutsche Ausgrabung in Olympia), which could be visited with the same ticket.
