Africa Responds.
– Africa Responds was a poster competition that ran from Nov 27th 1970 - April 5th 1971 open to African artists. There were 245 artists and 337 entries, with the three winning entries printed and distributed throughout Africa to promote the Munich Olympics (only the 1st and 2nd place ending up being produced).
The winning entry was judged to be "Young Runners" by Ancent Soi of Kenya. Seven artists submissions are included in the prospectus.
